Friday, July 11 was freebie day….my favorite kind of day of course! It was free slurpee day at 7-Eleven AND it was “Cow Appreciation” day at Chick-fil-A. What is “Cow Appreciation” day? I’m glad you asked. Basically, you dress like a cow and you get a free meal at Chick-fil-A. Say what?! It was totally awesome! And, might I add- you get to pick any meal on the menu if you are an adult and kids get any kids meal that they want.
I found out about it at 4:30 pm and by 6:00 pm we were walking through the doors of Chick-fil-a fully “cow-a-fied” (except the hubby because he is a bum- ha!).
My mother-in-law, Maggie and I wore black and white and cut out black spots from construction paper and taped them all over ourselves. We also accented it with black hats and ears made of construction paper. Check out our outfits:
Later I found out that the Chick-fil-A on Indian River (where we went to get our free meals) was doing a photo contest. They would pick a photo at random and the winner would get FREE Chick-fil-A for a week! So I entered this picture in the contest:
And guess what?! WE WON!!!!!!!!! I was bouncing off the walls when I found out! We went in to get our meal passes and everyone on staff was so nice and they were all congratulating us! They even gave us a free ice cream when we went in. It was awesome! We absolutely love this Chick-fil-A and all of their awesome employees and can’t thank them enough for the free meals!
We will definitely be “eating more chicken!”
