There is a new attraction at Mote Marine called “The Teeth Beneath” and it features…drum roll…ALLIGATORS! It’s so neat! We got a sneak peak and loved it! The kids had so much fun. I love how “hands on” Mote Marine’s exhibits are and they always have volunteers around to answer any questions you may have. It’s such a fun place to visit!
There is so much to see in the new “Teeth Beneath” exhibit. They have a big section for alligators where you can see them through the glass. You can also go to the second floor and look down over the exhibit. That was really neat and as you can see, my son loved it!
I think my kid’s favorite part of the exhibit was the North American river otters. They are so playful and so fun to watch. They come right up to the glass and the kids just think it is so cool to watch! The parents think it’s pretty cool too, haha!
Aren’t they the cutest?! Oh my goodness! Overall, we had so much fun at the new exhibit. Such a blast and so fun learning about these animals that make Florida so unique.
Oh….and we got to meet this guy…
The new “Teeth Beneath” exhibit is across from the actual Mote Marine Aquarium. It’s in the Mote’s Ann and Alfred E. Goldstein Marine Mammal Research and Rehabilitation Center [1703 Ken Thompson Parkway in Sarasota].
