We visited Sarasota Jungle Gardens and absolutely loved it. It’s like a zoo but for more location based animals like alligators, tropical birds, and farm animals. It was really neat!
When we pulled into the parking lot, I really wasn’t sure what we were getting ourselves into. But once yo get your tickets and you walk outside into Jungle Gardens it is SO neat. Jungle Gardens has actually been open to the public since 1936. They have a petting farm section, reptiles, flamingos, bird shows, and a playground for the kids. Check out some of our pictures…
To get to each section of the park, you walk through these beautiful paths. The last section we visited was the petting zoo. The kids loved feeding the animals.
Sarasota Jungle Gardens is located at 3701 Bay Shore Rd. in Sarasota. Tickets are $17.99 (kids three and under are free. Seniors are $12.99. Get more information about Sarasota Jungle Gardens and ticket prices here.
