I love getting together with other moms. We have so much in common and it’s just a safe place to talk, get opinions, laugh, and share stories about our children. If you aren’t involved in some kind of mom group, you should be! It’s great for you and the kids!
I was trying to find ideas for a mom group meetup and I decided, what better place than my own house for a pool party and something refreshing to stay cool in this hot southwest Florida sun- lemonade!
So, we did a lemonade stand mom group and it was a blast! While the kids swam, we moms drank lemonade and talked.
So here is how I set mine up…
First, you are going to need your lemonade. We love shopping at Publix because of their deals and in store coupons so we went there to buy Minute Maid® Lemonade. Now through August 4th they have a coupon you can grab in the booklet when you first walk in and cut out and use for 2 2-liter Minute Maid® Lemonades or FUZE® Ice Tea. You can also earn $1 back on Minute Maid® Lemonade or FUZE® Ice Tea 12-packs of 12-oz cans here!
We love the Minute Maid® Lemonade and it’s so easy to serve. After you buy it at Publix, just open the bottle and poor it in the cups. Quick and easy!
Now it’s time to start setting up for your Lemonade Stand Party!
Next I set up a table for the kiddos to sit at to eat and drink when they were in between swimming and playing. I used a yellow and white table cloth with a pink runner. I just picked up a regular pink table cloth and cut it to the size of the runner. We used pink plates and napkins and of course the mason jars with the Minute Maid® Lemonade from Publix.
And every lemonade party needs a tea section! I served tea at our party at a “tea stand” that looked like this-
We had so much fun at our Lemonade stand party! Don’t forget to get your $1 coupons for Minute Maid® Lemonade or FUZE® Ice Tea 12-packs of 12-oz cans by clicking the ibotta link here. Tell me what fun things you have done with your mommy group in the comments below!
