Looking for an affordable way to stay in Orlando and do the theme parks? Then Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa is for you! It has a great room options, great prices, reasonably priced restaurants, the pool is amazing, and it’s only 8 miles from Disney.
Why Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa?
We absolutely loved our visit at Lake Buena Vista Resort. It’s perfectly located in Orlando near shopping, theme parks, restaurants and more! But who wants to leave the resort when it’s this fun, am I right?! There is so much to do without ever moving your vehicle. We spent a ton of time at the pool with the kids. It was fun and relaxing- the perfect way to spend my vacation. There are restaurants and a shopping mall directly next to the resort. They also have a spa! It’s a great place to spend your vacation!
Check out a little video of our stay…
We had the two bedroom suite and oh my word– It was amazing. I truly believe 2 room villas are the way to go when traveling with a family. It’s so roomy! It has a master bedroom with a king size bed and bath that are HUGE.
It has another room with two double beds and another bathroom with a shower.
It has a living room with a sleeper sofa, flat screen TV, and a washing machine and dryer. It also has a kitchen with a stove, microwave, refrigerator and all the appliances you need to cook during your stay- including a coffee maker and regular and decaf coffee!
Our room was absolutely amazing. There was plenty of room for my family of four and my parents. My son is still in a pack-n-play but there was plenty of room for that as well. It’s just so nice being all together in a multiple room suite when traveling with family. I highly recommend it!
I cannot say enough about the pool. THERE IS A PIRATE SHIP! Enough said, am I right?!
We spent most of our time at the pool. It has a zero-entry for the kids which is my favorite thing ever now that I have children. They have a unique Pirate themed water slide that Maggie went down a bunch of times- she loved it. Here are a few of our pictures…
There were hammocks, ya’ll! HAMMOCKS! You can rest easy in the shade in a hammock.
They had a Kids Zone with games where the kids could take a break from the pool and play games.
There was a bar/restaurant right at the pool. We could get food and drinks and never had to leave the pool. The restaurant was called Lani’s Luau and they had discounted drinks as well. There was also a sit-down restaurant at the resort called Frankie Farrell’s Irish Pub & Grille so there are lots of options for food without having to leave the resort.
Oh my goodness, the Spa. I have never really taken time for myself on vacation because of the kids, but this was Mother’s Day weekend so the girls and I left the kiddos with my husband and had massages at the Reflections Spa Salon right there at the resort. They have so many treatments to choose from like facials, massages, manicures and pedicures. You can make an appointment at the Reflections Spa Salon without having a reservation in case any Orlando residents are looking for a great spa!
Transportation is offered from the resort to Walt Disney World theme parks as long as you let them know through the front desk ahead of time.
The price is my favorite part. I am very aware of my family’s budget so when we were deciding on our “stay-cation” in Florida we were thrilled to see that the prices were so reasonable at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa. Our two bedroom suite was under $200 a night! But a special thanks to the resort for comping my room in exchange for a review.
Overall, we absolutely loved Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa. We will be back! We spent some of our time at Walt Disney World, but the great thing about the resort is we could go back and rest and not stress about spending all day at the parks. It was marvelous. Best stay-cation ever!
Disclaimer: Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa was kind enough to provide my family and I with a two-bedroom suite in exchange for my honest review. As always, opinions are my own. Thank you for your ongoing support of Mom Explores Southwest Florida.
