My daughter is learning her letters. She is hilarious with letters in her name. We will be driving by a billboard and she will be like, “G! AHHHH! It’s a G! That’s in my name!”
So we are trying to work with her a little more often with letter recognition which can be totally boring for a child, so we have to be creative with how we do it.
First we went to Chick-fil-a and got a whole bunch of yummy soup. Then we reused the soup containers to make our flower pots. We used three containers so that we can make three letter words, but you can use more containers if you want to make bigger words.
For the flowers, I just grabbed some scrap scrapbook paper and cut them into flowers. You can print our the letters here and then cut them out and glue them to the middle of your flower.
Super cute way to integrate letter recognition. Plus, you get to eat a lot of Chick-fil-a soup, so it’s a win/win situation!
