It’s spring and almost time for Easter! One of my favorite holidays! I love teaching the kids about why we celebrate Easter and about Jesus’s life. We also love visiting the fun Easter Egg hunts and activities around town. Who doesn’t love free candy and fun?!

Fruitville Grove Strawberrry Festival – March 11, 12th, 18th, and 19th

Spring Splash – April 1st
There will be a fun, FREE Spring Splash event at Arlington Park & Aquatic Complex (2650 Waldemere St. in Sarasota) on April 1st. There will be an egg relay, egg toss, sack races, egg hunts, and more! This will be from noon-4PM. Get more information about the Spring Splash here.
EGGstravaganza – April 8th
Kids bring your baskets to this fun Easter egg hunt from 9:30-11:30AM in Lakewood Ranch. It is $5 for adults, $3 for children, and 2 and under are free. This will be located at Greenbrook Adventure Park. Get more information and register for the EGGstravaganza event here.
Tea Time – April 8th
This is a cute way for your daughters to dress up and come to a fun tea party at George Mullen Activity Center (1602 Kramer Way in North Port). Ages 2-5 with a parent. It’s $10 per pair and $3 per additional child. This will be from 11AM-12PM. Get more information about Tea Time here.
The Children’s Garden’s Annual Adult Easter Egg Hunt – April 8th

Jungle Trails and Bunny Tails – April 14th
There will be 40,000 candy-filled Easter Eggs at Jungle Gardens for this special Easter Egg Hunt. Admission for children are half of regular admission that day for this event. It will be at 11AM, 12:30PM, and 2PM. Children should bring their own baskets. Jungle Gardens is located at 3701 Bay Shore Rd. in Sarasota from 10AM to 5PM. Admission is free for children 3 and under.
Spring Fling – April 14th
Free family spring fling at South Biscayne at 6:30PM on April 14th. There will be inflatables, candy, games, live music and more. This will be located at 13000 S. Tamiami Trail in North Port. Get more information about South Biscayne Church here.
Eggstravaganza Children’s Easter Egg Hunt – April 15th

“Egg”normous Egg Hunt – April 15th
This fun event will be from 10AM-12PM at the City Center Front Green (4970 City Hall Blvd. in North Port). Kids should bring their baskets. There will be over 15,000 eggs for kids ages 3-11. Free admission. Get more information about “Egg”normous Egg Hunt here.
Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt – April 15th
This egg hunt will be held at A Shining Light Church on April 15th from 10AM-1PM. This is located at 8500 Fruitville Rd. in Sarasota. There will be an egg hunt, games, bounce house, hot dogs, face painting, and more. This event is free. Get more information about the Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt here.
Egg Hunt at City Life Church – April 15th
Ages 2 years old to 5th grade can enjoy this free event at 11AM. There will be prizes and of course, an egg hunt. This is located at City Life Church at 1300 17th Ave. W. in Sarasota).

Sarasota Egg Drop – April 16th
This fun event is hosted by Hope City Church. There will be a 90-minute Easter experience and then ever child who attends will be given a wristband and a bag to get on the field and collect eggs after the helicopter passes through and drops the eggs!
