We visited Boca Grande last week and for the first time we went to the Boca Grande Library which is called Johann Fust Community Library. Oh my goodness, ya’ll! This was the best library I have EVER been to! It was gorgeous. Each section (adult, children, and movies/Cd’s) had their own little building. And there was a big, beautiful courtyard in the middle. Absolutely beautiful!
Check out our video tour and then some fun pictures of our experience…
Here are a few of our pictures…
This is the entrance into the children’s “secret garden.” Such an adorable idea! Plus it’s completely enclosed. The only way out is through the door back into the children’s library, so the kids are totally safe.
This is an outdoor little area for people to sit and read or work on their laptops. I love this!
We went on a Wednesday which meant we were able to read to a dog named Smokie. Smokie is a therapy dog and her owner’s live on the island. Smokie is well known around the island for her calm and pleasant manner. My kids loved reading to her. Read to Smokie the month of April only on Wednesdays at 3:30pm. It’s so fun!
I definitely recommend checking it out! It’s the most wonderful library we have ever visited. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!
