We did an Easter Egg Hunt on Boca Grande Island this past weekend and it was so much fun. It was very well organized and the kids had a blast.
Here are a few snapshots!
They divided the hunt up by three age groups. We were part of the first age group – zero to 4 year olds. They had a big field roped off and let all of us go in with the kiddos and we made a big circle around the field of eggs and candy. Then they counted down and we were off to find eggs.
They had tons and tons of plastic eggs and also wrapped candy everywhere. So of course the kids were going strait for the candy. But Maggie did pick up a few eggs that had candy in them as well. Our hunt last 5-10 minutes and then they rounded us out so they could get ready for the next age group. The hubby and Maggie immediately went through the plastic eggs to see what she got…
And sure enough…she was one of the winners of a prize! She got this ticket in one of her eggs so she was able to get a prize. It was so cool!
After Maggie claimed her prize we went and saw the Easter Bunny.
It was such a fun time! We had a blast! We absolutely love going to Boca Grande for family days and events. Check out our last outing at Boca Grande.
