We are always looking for fun things to do with the kiddos. Sometimes we do special things that cost money, but many times we shoot for the free activities. I made a list for all you Fort Myers mommas of 10 free Kids Activities in Fort Myers.
1. Lynn Hall Memorial Park
Hit the beach at Lynn Hall Memorial Park which is open from 7am to 11pm daily.
2. Lakes Regional Park Splash Park
There are two splash parks completely free to the public.
3. Sanibel Lighthouse Beach Park
Although you can’t actually go up in the Sanibel Lighthouse, you can still go to the grounds and check it out and take pictures. Very fun!
4. Manatee Park
This is a free park where you can take the kids to look for manatees. There is a fence along the water. There is also a butterfly garden!
5. Matanzas Pass Preserve
Take a walk along the board walks of the Matanzas Pass Preserve. There are 1.25 miles of boardwalks.
6. Bowditch Point Park
This park gives access to the Gulf and has picnic tables and areas to have a picnic lunch.
7. Fort Myers Beach Public Library
The Fort Myers Beach Public Library has a great children’s section where the kids can play and find books and movies.
8. Estero Community Park
This park has a huge playground for the kids to play on along with basketball courts, rock climbing wall, and more!
9. Riverside Park and Community Center
There is a playground, kayak launch, fishing pier, and picnic tables.
10. North Colonial Linear Park
This is a great place to take a bike ride along their paved sidewalks along the canal.
11. Lakes Regional Park Playground
The playground at Lakes Regional Park is amazing! It’s huge! And they have a train theme and they have a a kiddie train ride you can buy tickets for too. They also have a beautiful boardwalk where you can walk, jog, or bike.
